In another one of my blogs I discussed the fact that Custom insoles are a waste of money and I still stand by this and I just want tog et the fact out because so many "runner gurus" are promoting custom insoles just based on the fact that these insoles cost more money and therefore must be better when the truth is their really is no scientific evidence to support this at all... In my other blog post over on the wool blog I argued that gel insoles provide better support because they adapt to the changing shape of your feet and it is true. So it is a very good idea not to waste your money and get something that provides more support and protection Id say... read my other blog post here for more info if you dont get what I am saying.
